Helping promote community health and wellness
What we do:
Educate – we provide accurate, impartial, up-to-date information in a non-partisan format on a variety of current healthcare-related issues that directly affect Allegan County residents including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Medicaid expansion & Medicare reform.
Assist – we link needs with resources, providing individuals, families, organizations, and local businesses with the tools needed to successfully navigate what can often be confusing and complicated issues.
Inform – we seek to keep Allegan County informed of the latest information at the national, state, and local levels via this website, regular e-newsletters, community forums and special events.

Wayland Dental Clinic accepts Medicaid, Healthy Kids and walk-ins are always welcome!

Healthy Michigan
Please call (734-210-0778 or email at vmarques.rhhc@gmail.com to enroll today in Healthy Michigan! Medicaid enrollment can also be combined with an application for food, cash, emergency or child benefits, as Victor is a certified DHS Navigator who can help with the application process.

Lions Club
For those in need of eye care, please check out the lion club website linked above! This organization works with those in need of vision care by providing free glasses to those in need!

The Bridge
The Bridge in Allegan is a church of doubters, seekers, and followers who are learning to follow and worship Jesus. Everyone is welcome with no prerequisite of church background or prior belief.
Offers recovery groups including mixed recovery and woman’s only.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. We are an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
